I believe that we are constantly withdrawing our feelings and desires in order to fit in, for fear of rocking the boat. Aries gives you permission to rock that f**cking boat baby, upturn it, break away and swim to the shore! Sorry Pisces, your moon last month was all about dreaming – the Aries new moon is all about DOING!
Don’t be afraid to question your relationships under this full moon as Libra reminds you that you deserve to feel loved. Powered by Venus, the planet of love and beauty, you are deeply reminded that we will never receive the love we give unto others until we have shown it to ourselves. Tend to your own needs more so than expecting it from others and find the happiness you’ve been looking for inside yourself all along.
So do as the fish would and go with the flow for the next few weeks as you explore your inner world. Understand that what comes up for you, however unusual, is worthy of investigation. And don’t forget, that it is only the dead fish swim down the stream…
So, how to make the most of this new moon? Know that you are supported! Step outside the box and do what it takes to create a better life – for your friends, your community, your planet. This new moon encourages you to plant those seeds and not just walk the talk of your vision, but run with it.
As Capricorn is an earth sign, this is the perfect time not only to dream big but to get practical & realistic about your plans. This moon gifts you with the stability and determination to see your projects through, so use this energy wisely, it only lasts 4 weeks!
We all know about the full moon; it’s beaming visibility through the night sky sends passer-buyers into utter stillness and awe. But what about the new moon? Equally as important, if not more so, the new moon represents a new beginning, a new chapter that we are lucky enough to embark upon every 28 days.
And so I leap across these stepping stones of self discovery where I meet my old friend bursting with colour along the way. She tells me that the tremendously difficult journey travelled towards liberation through honouring my pain and embracing my suffering is equally imperative, yet just as challenging, as acknowledging the same light that shimmers from the moon and glows deeply through my veins.
For the first time in my life, I am grateful for everything that has happened to me as each triumph, trauma and tragedy was although unbeknown at the time, a gateway to myself.
